Immunity simply means that a class is unaffected by a certain type of action.

Death Immunity[]

Death Immunity makes a class unaffected by most forms of death at night, and therefore allowing them to survive death. This includes attacks from the Blue Dragon such as Cold Steel from The Knight or attacks from the Neutral Killer, such as Puppet Strings from The Possessor. Only attacks that specifically mention being able to bypass Death Immunity or bleeds will be able to kill a class who has Death Immunity.

Permanent[]

Temporary[]

  • The Alchemist can give themselves immunity to death from most sources for a night by using the Stoneskin Potion ability.
  • The Court Wizard can give their Intensify target immunity to death from most sources for a night if they used the Icy Veins ability that day.
  • The Evil King can give themselves or others immunity to death from most sources for a night by using the Improved Safeguard ability.
  • The Fool can give themselves immunity to death from most sources for a night by using the Hide ability.
  • The Good King and The Neutral King can give themselves immunity to death from most sources for a night by using the Guards! ability.
  • The Good King can also give others immunity to death for a night by using the Safeguard ability if they are the first and original King.
  • The Inquisitor is immune to one attack from most sources, until they achieve their victory condition.
  • The Scorned is immune to one attack from most sources, until they achieve their victory condition.

Temporary (with attack-triggered effects)[]

  • The Hunter can give himself immunity to death for a night and kill all of his attackers by using the Bear Companion ability.
  • The Knight can give another player immunity to death for a night, kill all of that player's attackers, and sacrifice himself by using the Defend ability.
  • The Mercenary can grant protection from one attack with her Shield.

Healing[]

  • The Alchemist can prevent another player's death by using the Crimson Potion ability.
  • The Physician can prevent another player's death by using the Heal ability.
  • The Physician can prevent their own death by using the Self-Care ability.
  • The Reaper can prevent their own death and consume a soul by using the Consume Soul ability.

Delaying[]

  • The Chronomancer can delay their own death for two nights by using the Pocket Dimension ability.
  • The Chronomancer can delay someone else's death for two nights by using the Time Warp ability.

Occupy and Redirection Immunity[]

Occupy and Redirection Immunity makes a class unaffected by Occupation and Redirection. Commonly shortened to simply 'Occupy Immunity', this makes an action from a player who has Occupy and Redirect Immunity, effectively unable to be stopped by most methods. Occupy and Redirect Immunity does not allow you to bypass through jail from The Prince however.

Permanent[]

  • After a player has been occupied, redirected, and/or imprisoned for a total of 3 times, they will become immune to occupation for the rest of the game.
  • Being imprisoned by The Prince 3 times can prevent further imprisonment.

Temporary[]

  • The Enforcer can give The Assassin immunity to occupation (does not grant them immunity to redirect however) for a night by using the Frenzy ability.
  • If someone does not use a targeted ability, they are immune to redirection for that night.

Intensify[]

  • The Court Wizard can make their target bypass occupation and redirection by using Intensify.

Conversion Immunity[]

Conversion Immunity makes a class unaffected by Conversion, which prevents them from being converted into the Unseen or Cult by The Mastermind or The Cult Leader respectively. As a result, classes with permanent Conversion Immunity tend to not have a converted counterpart for a class. The most common example of this are Neutral classes.

Permanent[]

Temporary[]

  • The Court Wizard can give their Intensify target immunity to conversion for a night if they used the Clear Mind ability that day.
  • The Hunter can give themselves immunity to conversion for a night by using the Bear Companion ability. This will not kill the player attempting to convert them.
  • The Paladin can give another player and themselves immunity to conversion for a night by using the Smite ability. This will also kill The Cult Leader if they attempt to convert that player.

Bleed Immunity[]

Bleed Immunity makes a class unaffected by bleeds. They cannot be bled by classes such as The Assassin or The Cult Leader. When a class with Bleed Immunity is bled, they are notified of the attempt, but will obviously not be bled. It should be noted that Bleed Immunity does not prevent you from dying through bleeding out at all, it can only prevent you being bled by classes in the first place. This however does not usually matter but should be remembered while using an ability like Inoculate as The Physician.

Permanent[]

Target Immunity[]

Target Immunity makes a class unable to be targeted at all during the night. Almost all classes can not bypass Target Immunity. The exception however is Mind Link and Conduit from The Mystic, which can both bypass Target Immunity.

  • The Prince can make their target immune to being targeted that night, by using the Imprison ability.
